Rachel Hills, MD

Dr. Rachel Hills earned her medical degree from the Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine before completing her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle, where she also served as a resident teacher and small-group instructor for first-year medical students. That training grounds a clinical style that Dr. Hills describes simply: compassionate, evidence-based care built together with each patient, not delivered to them.

Since 2006, Dr. Hills has practiced Family Medicine, spending her early career in Seattle before relocating her practice to Golden, Colorado in 2017. Her clinical focus spans the full scope of Family Medicine — from preventive primary care and chronic disease management to women's health — with an emphasis on continuity, prevention, and collaborative goal-setting with patients and their families.

Beyond the exam room, Dr. Hills has remained active in medical education and professional service. She is a longstanding member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Colorado Academy of Family Physicians, and her clinical writing has appeared in the Annals of Emergency Medicine. In 2021, she was named a 5280 Top Doc in Family Medicine, a peer-nominated recognition of physicians in the Denver metro area.
